I know that today is the 15th, so I SHOULD be posting an anecdote today, but with it being tax day I figured I’d wait until the day after so all of you procrastinators have a chance to read. And, maybe, I’m so busy getting ready for the Festival of Faith and Writing conference that I got behind by a day (it’s possible, but we’ll go with the first reason, k?)

Tomorrow is your chance to meet Emily Downs. We met last year at a the Write-to-Publish conference and have stayed in touch. She’s going to share a little bit about her journey into publication tomorrow, but today I’ll give you a brief intro:

Emily Downs is a freelance writer/teacher/speaker who lives along the shores of Lake Michigan with her husband. If not working at her job at Forever Books she can be found drinking coffee and writing at Caffé Tosi. Her work has appeared in such publications as Guideposts, Focus on the Family, Tea Magazine and the South Bend Tribune. Check out her latest project, her first novel, Perfectly Formed Pearls, on her website www.emilydownswriter.com.

Stop by tomorrow to read Emily’s story!
