Love Inspired Romantic Suspense are pretty hit-or-miss for me, but Darlene Turner is pretty consistent in her books–then tend to grab me quickly, keep a good pace, and feature a variety of conflicts that get in the hero’s way. This book was no different. It immediately piqued my interest, and the pacing was great. My one beef (and if you know me, this isn’t a surprise): I wanted to see a little more of the romance! They had such cute chemistry (and a DOG!) that I wanted to see more of it, but that’s definitely personal preference. 🙂

If you enjoy LI Romantic Suspense and haven’t tried Darlene Turner yet, I recommend this book.
