Now I See: How God’s Amazing Grace Transforms the Deepest Pain to Shining Joy is my memoir highlighting how God lifted me from blindness at 30, the abandonment of my husband, the murder of my youngest son, and the acquittal of the man responsible.
It’s a life of tragedy, but a story of triumph lines with beautiful joy-filled victories.
Is there anything else you’d like to share?
Yes, the Spanish version of Now I see is about to be released. It will speak to my every-growing Hispanic audience.
Not even blindness or tragedy stopped Janet Settles (formerly Perez Eckles) from becoming an award-winning author, international speaker, Master Spanish interpreter, radio host and founder of JC Empowerment Ministries. She has been called a “powerhouse of motivation” as she empowers thousands nationally and internationally. The impact of her message led her to share the stage with John C. Maxwell, Lee Strobel, Governor, Mike Huckabee, Priscilla Shirer, and other respected speakers.
Today, Janet continues to light up her Spanish- and English-speaking audiences with her Latina flair, unexpected humor, riveting stories and inspiration drawn from her five books, including her latest release, Now I See: How God’s Grace Transforms the Deepest Pain to Shining joy, winner of the 2023 Golden Scroll Memoir of the year Award. Janet’s stories also appear in 32 Chicken Soup for the Soul best-selling titles, Guidepost Magazine, and dozens of anthologies and hundreds of magazine articles.
Janet resides in Florida with her husband, Dale, adult children, and delightful grandchildren. www.janetperezeckles.com
