Okay, for MONTHS now I’ve been putting random thoughts and junk on this blog. There’s no focus. I have no idea what I’m try to say or do. I’m just trying to keep a blog with the hopes that someone (other than Val) will read it and comment on it. Possibly even, someday, people might follow it.
That hasn’t really happened yet, and I know the reason: I have no focus.
Ladies (and gentlemen, in case someone peeks in) – that is about to change.
I know what I’m going to do. I know what I’m going to say. THERE IS A POINT TO MY MADNESS!!!
This blog is now the personal journal of my adventure to get a book published. You won’t find “how to…” columns. No more weekly lists of what I did (Hey! Wake up! I said I won’t publish those lists anymore…sheesh). Here’s what you’ll find:
The discoveries and thoughts of Karin Beery as she meets people, takes classes, buys shoes, and tries to get a book published.
I’m excited about this! Now I don’t have to struggle with deciding whether or not to publish something here or on my personal blog – since I have a THEME I can fit all posts within it!
Oh my…the weights have lifted 🙂 The stress is gone. I’VE CONQUERED THE RANDOMNESS!!
Sigh. I’m happy about this 🙂
I hope you enjoy this as much as I will.
See you soon!
congratulations on your new blog direction! it definitely helps to know where you’re going. 🙂
Hooray! Good for you, Karin! (I loved how you still managed to get shoes in there! LoL)
Terry’s class is great! I’m learning a lot!
Hugs!
Good for you, Karin. Looks great and I hope it goes well for you. At least you know where you’re going. 🙂
Congratulations on your new focus, Karin. I just wanted to drop by and cheer you along. Every published author started out with the very same struggle.
So, go, girl! : )
Blessings,
Linore

Karin, I like the idea for your new blog. Good luck with it and with the trail to publication. I’m on the same trail. Maybe someday we’ll meet.
