As a kid, I loved the Highlights magazine. The pages were filled fun activities.
What was the first “real” book (with chapters and without pictures) you remember reading?
Phyllis Whitney’s mysteries caught my attention in middle school. Every time I went to the school library, I searched for more of her books.
What was your most favorite book in high school?
I don’t remember the name of the book, but after I finished reading all of Phyllis Whitney’s books, I discovered Agatha Christie.
What was your least favorite book in high school?
Oh my. My absolute least favorite book in high school was my science book 😊
What was the last novel you read?
The last novel I read was Concrete Evidence by DiAnn Mills. I have a stack of to-be-read books in my writing office.
What was the last nonfiction book you read?
Health, Healing, and Wholeness by Tracy Crump was the last nonfiction book I read. It was amazing to read about real encounters where God intervened in people’s lives.
Which book lived up to the hype (from the past 1-2 years)?
Deception by Patricia Bradley had me hooked from the beginning.
Which book do you love that needs more hype?
I believe Secrets Left Behind by Shannon Redmon was a super novel that should have had more hype. It is a romantic suspense novel with several twists. Check it out if you haven’t read it.
