Jesus tells us in the Bible, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” But, what happens when your loved one dies and has not received Jesus as their Savior?
Where did your loved one go?
Many believers feel guilty they didn’t do enough to share the Gospel with them.
Do you feel you failed in winning them to Christ?
How do we possibly proceed through our grieving process when the question is one of an Eternal kind? How do we forgive ourselves? And, how do we go on loving a God who would send our loved one to Hell?
How could a loving and merciful God do such a thing?
Looking into the Scriptures, L.J. Klotz presents a journey through God’s Word to lead the reader into a deeper understanding of these difficult questions. You will learn a perspective that takes you, literally, out of this world; our fallen, mortal world. You will learn questions to ask yourself as you begin to understand God’s ways over our ways.
Through this book you will find your way to peace.

While this is pitched as a book about the afterlife for Christians, it’s much more a step-by-step process for non-Christians who are questioning the afterlife. I expected it jump into what the Bible says about death, heaven, and hell, but the book starts with “what is the Bible?” (literally explaining that it’s 66 books, two testaments, etc., which are things a Christian should know).
Most books written for Christians assume the reader has a basic understanding of the Christian faith; this book does not. The author assumes the Christians reading it do not understand the Bible, read the Bible, or believe the Bible. There’s nothing wrong with that approach if you (as the reader) know that’s what you’re getting into, but that’s not how the book was marketed. It’s less of a book on grieving than it is a manual on how to develop your relationship with God. Again, there’s nothing wrong with that if that’s the book you think you’re getting.
Overall, I think this book could be helpful to the right audience, but I’m not sure it’s reaching the right people with its message (I’m still not fully sure who it’s for or what it’s trying to teach). Get your copy here.

As the author of this book, I thank you for taking the time to review it. I’m glad you found it helpful in regards to bringing the reader into a closer relationship with God. As for the targeted reader, I have found the majority of those professing belief in the Gospel not only have little knowledge of the Bible, but are also unaware that God calls us to grow spiritually by means of applying what the Bible teaches to our lives. To ask God to answer the question in title, one must first believe what His Word says, thus my condensed overview. Most believers are seeking a yes or no answer. But there is a third option and at the bottom of page 107, I sum it up.
