I was excited to read this collection because I’m familiar with three of the four authors. Plus, what’s not to love about lumberjacks? I managed to get an advanced copy and couldn’t wait to read it.

The novellas didn’t disappoint. Set in different states and often inspired by real events, each novella presents a different look at lumber camps. Each romance reflects the authors’ different styles, with some of the romance sparking immediately with others making you wait for the big payoff. Overall, these stories are exactly what you expect and love from clean and Christian historical romance.

If you’re familiar with any of these authors, this collection won’t disappoint. If you haven’t read any of their books yet but you enjoy the likes of Laura Franz and Melissa Jagears, I think you’ll enjoy this book.

Rated PG.
