I LOVE Christmas cookies … and fudge and Chex Mix and every other snack that I only make during the holidays. I don’t get to make them often because the hubs and I tend to eat our share (and our neighbor’s share and our families’ shares), so I haven’t been able to bake as much as I’d like. I love my hubby’s new job though – they take turn bringing in snacks, so I get to experiment with as many cookie recipes as I can afford!
Though I’ve memorized a few of my favorite recipes, I also like to try new treats. It’s not always easy to sift the good recipes from the bad ones (or the difficult ones!). That’s why I prefer personal recommendations. Stories from people who have actually made – and enjoyed – the cookies.
This year, my friend Joselyn Vaughn has done the work for me! For the month of December she’ll be posting stories and recipes from her writer friends (even I contributed – check out the Dec. 3 post for my cathedral window recipe!).
