Thanks for asking, I’m happy to share. I still want to get my freelance writing career going (more than $60/week would be great). While it’s not quite the jump I’d hoped for, I’m now writing for another paper!

The Kalkaska Leader is also a local weekly (and it’s owned by the same company that prints the Grand Traverse Insider). While my passion isn’t exactly for journalism, I’m really enjoying the experience. I’m meeting more people, learning about new things, and getting a little bit of cash in the bargain. It works for me.
