Do you see that?? Front page, above the fold – my 100th article for 2010! Woo hoo!!!
Just in case you need further proof, here it is (you can read the actual article online – just google Grand Traverse Insider).
My freelance writing goal for 2010 was to have 100 articles published. I plan on having MANY more in print by the end of this year (I wonder how many I can do in three months…). Now I need to start thinking of a goal for 2011.
In the meantime, it’s time to focus on my brutally neglected fiction. Sigh. It’s been a rough year, but I’m finally back on track (thank you ACFW conference and Mr. Bell). Since I’ve achieved my paying gig goal, I’m going to use the next three months to complete the rough draft of my novel. It really shouldn’t take me any longer than that, but I keep getting side tracked (I need me some tunnel vision). Three months seems like a good time frame for a rough draft – let’s do it!
Question: How are you doing with your weekly/monthly/yearly goals? Is there any way I can help?
