This was my first introduction to Michele Pariza Wacek. I’ve never read either of these series, but I’m a big fan cozy mysteries and I’m in a Christmas story mood recently, so I jumped at the chance to read these books.

These stories were all the fun of a Hallmark mysteries Christmas movie. And even though I haven’t read any other books in the series, I found it easy to slip into the settings and understand the characters and their relationships (though I’m sure they’re more fun if you’re familiar with the characters already).

If you’re looking for a quick, easy, sex-and-violence-free story to help you get in the spirit of the season, these should do the trick!
