A new-to-me author, I was intrigued by the premise of three older women as the main characters (especially as I’m not closer in age to them than I am to 20yo characters). I didn’t realize this was book three in a series, but I didn’t feel like I was missing anything by jumping in at the end. Posti did a good job laying the foundation from the previous novels (though it’s always a big confusing so late in a series when there are so many names you don’t yet recognize).
This book had a lot of things that I love:
– women’s fiction with romance
– small town setting
– some serious topics with a lighthearted touch
– old and new friendships
Overall, it was a fun story with a sweet message.
Rated PG.
