I continually find myself debating the same question: should I really be keeping two blogs?
I started one blog years ago as a way to keep people updated. This blog began as an attempt to post my writings and updates as to how it’s going. But when I sit down to post a new entry I often grapple with this question – where do I post it?
I used to think I could keep one personal and one information. That didn’t work. Why? Because who reads informational blogs? No one. The point of a blog is that you get a bit of the personal with it, right? It’s not straight information – it’s information as seen and interpreted through my eyes.
My struggle, however, is that the information I want to post here is usually the same as an opinion that I want to share on my other blog. And the more I write, the more I realize that I can’t actually separate my writing life from my personal life – they’ve blended together too well.
So what’s a writer to do?
Do I close shop here and invite you into my personal life? Do I shut down the personal site and force everyone to read the updates on my writing life? Is there any way to link the two under a common website?
I have no idea. I’m still pondering. In the meantime – please don’t be afraid to check out www.kavicvb.blogspot.com. It’s a bit more sarcastic…involves a few more pictures…it’s kinda rough.
But it’s me.

UPDATE: I, obviously, kept this blog, as well as my original blog. The original, however, has morphed, and is now a tribute to life with my Aunt Linda. It’s still me…but with Linda.
