Earlier this month I posted about two young friends who don’t have a fun outlet for their creativity (you can view it here). In keeping with that theme, I wanted to give these girls a chance to see something of their’s in print, so today I’m featuring a interviews with Olivia and Isabella. Not only do they love books, they’re also very interested in blogging. Today is their chance to see how it feels to be online and in print.

What are you currently reading? What’s your favorite part of the book? I am reading Eight Keys. I like it because it is a mystery, and I like mysteries.

What is your favorite book? Why? My favorite book is Out of My Mind. It is my favorite book because it is very inspiring.

Why do you like to write? I like writing because I like to make up characters in my stories.

If you wrote a novel, what would it be about? If I wrote a novel, it would be about my childhood.

Is there anything else you’d like to say? Nope, that’s all.

And now, Isabella:

Hi Isabella. Please tell us how old you are and what grade you’re in. I am 9 1/2 years old and going into 4th grade.

What are you currently reading? What’s your favorite part of the book? The book I am reading is Skylark. I love it so much because there is so much detail in it, it feels like you live in the book.

What is your favorite book? Why? My favorite book currently is Sarah Plain and Tall because I like to read the happiness, sadness, and the troubles they face with Sarah.

Why do you like to write? I like to write because I love, love, love to tell people that life is not easy and live it while you can.

If you wrote a novel, what would it be about? A woman that has lived her whole live with dyslexia and people would make fun of her, that she can’t read, and how she faces life.

Is there anything else you’d like to say? No.

Thank you so much for taking some time to talk with me about yourselves. Stay inspired, and keep writing!
