This is the second time I’ve written this month’s Ramblings. As I wrote my first version I realized my Ramblings have a pattern – they’ve sort of turned in to rants. While there

are plenty of things in life that annoy me – snow storms on the first day of spring, bad customer service, the poor quality of television shows – I’m not actually that negative of a person. For every one thing in life that bugs me, there are a handful of things that make me smile. With that in mind, this month I’m focusing on the good things. Here are a few items (whatever comes to mind).

The Red Wings are losing again … and, for the first time in over a decade, I get to watch the game! I’d rather watch a loss than hear about a win!

It’s still snowing … but I work from home, so I don’t have to drive in it every day.

Aside from sports, there’s nothing good on TV … but the remote has an off button, so I can enjoy some peace and quiet.

The cat’s claw snagged my pants … because he was kneading my leg when I wasn’t feeling well.

I spent three days sick this week … the house didn’t fall apart because my hubby and Aunt Linda took care of me and the kitchen, letting me rest and recover.

I spent three days sick this week … my flexible, work-from-home part-time schedule let me rearrange my schedule so I can still finish my work on time.

I spent three days sick this week … I have Tylenol, Alka-Selzer, and Vapor Rub, so I rested as comfortably as possible.

I spent three days sick this week … my mom called the local pizza place and had dinner delivered so I wouldn’t have to worry about it.

But wait, there’s more!

The sun was shining last weekend. The hubs is cleaning the garage. My niece and nephew are the best blog hosts ever. I own a sectional. My piano is amazing. I have an ergonomic keyboard (you can’t fully appreciate that until you’ve used one). I have great hair. Coffee is delicious. Duck Dynasty (’nuff said).

I really do love my life. How about you?
