Hi everyone! I just want to give you a head’s up: this month’s author interview is going to be a little bit different. Instead of interviewing and author, I’ll be posting an email that Ashley Weis sent to the members of the American Christian Fiction Writers’ Association earlier this month. Here’s why:
In late August I realized I didn’t have an author scheduled this month. Usually I email my writing friends and ask for volunteers, but I felt like I should wait. I knew I wanted to do something different, but I wasn’t sure what. Then I read Ashley’s email and I knew why I hadn’t scheduled anyone for the Sept/Oct interview – because I was supposed to save it for Ashley. So I sent her an email and asked her if I could help her market her book. She said yes.
Tomorrow I’ll post the email as she sent it – no introduction, no explanation. Today, I’m giving you fair warning, as well as some info on her book. I hope you’ll stop back tomorrow to read about Ashely’s experience in publishing.
