The first book in Ronie Kendig’s “Discarded Heroes” series, I struggled to put this book down. I love Kendig’s blend of action and story. She keeps it moving without getting too bogged down in the details of black ops or the relationships – everything works together to keep you interested and move the story forward. If you enjoy Dee Henderson’s books, then this is a must-read.
