Whew! Close call, but I made it!

A few days ago I typed up a blog post, then dated it to appear today. I lived my live and forgot about it.
This morning, however, I realized that it was basically the same as my last post! While that’s an issue that’s quite important in my life today, it doesn’t need a new post every day – especially because I’m STILL writing, and the whole point of this blog is to chat about my writing life – ALL of it.
I didn’t worry about the repeat offender, though. Being in the Eastern Time Zone and sitting down to my computer at 7:00 a.m., I beat most of my regular readers. Whew! Just enough time to delete the old and scribble the new.
So what did I learn in all of this? KEEP TRACK! Jot a note on my calendar, or tape something on my computer screen, but it’s a good idea to keep track of my blog topics – especially if I write them ahead of time!
