This next bit of news has the power to cripple or encourage you. I hope you’ll go for option #2, cause here’s the info:

Did you know it took Tolkien 16 years to write the Lord of the Rings books? And it took Peter Jackson eight years to get all three movies onto the screen. Who do you know that will argue in defense of these works as being subpar, or mediocre works?

I really don’t have anything to complain about, considering I got my first draft down in six weeks and only worked on revising it for a couple of months before realizing I have a lot more to learn. Taking a couple of years doesn’t sound nearly so bad anymore.
