Short Bio

A multi-published author and editor, Karin Beery can find the hope (and humor) in most any situation, including her husband’s cancer, their infertility, and her menagerie of fur babies who all insist on sleeping on her side of the bed. She lives in northern Michigan with her husband and pets. They drink too much (decaf) coffee, put up their Christmas tree the first weekend in November, and do their best to live every day for the Lord.

A writer and reader of hopeful fiction with a healthy dose of romance, Karin Beery can find the hope (and humor) in most any situation, including her marriage, her career, and her menagerie of fur babies who all insist on sleeping on her side of the bed. She’s a multi-published author and editor with experience in traditional and self-publishing, freelance editing, and editing for publishers. When she’s not writing, she runs Write Now Editing, helping authors turn good manuscripts into great books.

In the office, Karin stays active as a member of Advanced Writers and Speakers Association, Christian Authors Network, the Christian Proofreaders and Editors Network, and the National Association of Independent Writers and Editors. Out of the office, she enjoys kayaking, spending time with family and friends, and living in a Hallmark-ready small town.
